tutorial with Tao

Yesterday I had a tutorial with Tao, which gave me a lot of new knowledge. For example, I did not understand the meaning of workflow before, Tao said workflow is to see the process of thinking, do each step of the record, what new attempts, and then I will be in the record time to consciously reflect.

For example, this time I tried the style of gradient color illustration, the reference artist nuQ, I can explore more gradient ways, and to analyze why he used gradient, what he wanted to express with gradient, there is no other artist is also using gradient color to express.

To develop my own analytical skills, read the artist's thoughts, his angle of thinking, his narrative of thinking
and then deeply understand why he did it

Each time you research an artist, describe in detail how you see his expressions, how he expresses them, the visual way he uses them, and which artists use the same way, but in a different way?

And whether I can visualize my understanding, how to master the content and rhythm, how to tell the story, where the climax of the story is, just like stand-up comedy, each part has its own role.

There are two things to master: what the content expresses and how it expresses, that is, the visual form

Be clear about what I want to say and what will come up in each project
To write down clearly in words

Research the specific image, know what it looks like, and then compose the picture - visual expression - can try different ways (because we do not know which way is the best)

昨天和tao有tutorial, 让我有了很多新认知。比如我之前并不明白workflow的意义，tao说workflow是看思考的过程，做每一步的记录，有哪些新尝试，然后我会在记录的时候有意识的去反思。

比如我这次尝试的是渐变色插画的风格，参考的艺术家nuQ, 我就可以探索更多渐变的方式，以及去分析他为什么使用渐变，他想用渐变表达什么，有没有其他艺术家也是使用渐变色去表达。

要培养自己的分析能力，阅读艺术家的思考想法，他思考的角度，思考的叙述
，然后深刻理解他为什么这么做

每次调研艺术家，要详细描述出你怎么看见他的表达他是怎么表达出来他用了视觉方式表达有哪些艺术家也用了相同的方式但又有什么不一样？

以及我能不能把自己的理解具像化，如何掌握内容和节奏，怎么讲故事，故事高潮在哪里，就好像脱口秀一样，每个部分都有着自己的作用。

要掌握两点：内容表达什么以及怎么样表达，也就是视觉形式

在每次做项目的时候，要清晰我想表达什么，和会有什么出现
，要用文字明确写下来

把具体形象调研，知道长什么样，再组成画面-视觉表达-可以去尝试不同方式（因为我们不知道哪一种方式是最好的）
